Jeffrey Eget

Recruit Training Administration - Parole

Sr. Parole Officer, NJ State Parole

 

Senior Parole Officer Eget has been employed by the State of New Jersey Division of Parole since 2000. Officer Eget graduated from the Basic Course for Parole Officers Class #018. While attending the Basic Course for Parole Officers training program, Officer Eget served as the Platoon Leader and at graduation was awarded the Fred Baker Academic Achievement Award and the Stone / Ratajczak Professionalism Award. Following graduation, Officer Eget was assigned to Parole District Office #7 (Camden) and later served with Parole District Office #6 (Trenton) and with the Parole Training Unit. Officer Eget is a member of the NJ State Parole Honor Guard. In 2003, Officer Eget was awarded the New Jersey Narcotics Enforcement Officer Association Law Enforcement Award. In 2004 Officer Eget, a Major in the United States Army, was called to active duty and served a one year tour in Iraq as part of operation Iraqi Freedom III. Officer Eget, a certified H&K USP Armorer, holds numerous instructor certifications. Officer Eget is also a member of the East Coast Gang Investigators Association. Officer Eget has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies from Virginia Military Institute and a Masters of Science Management Degree from Thomas Edison State College.  

 

 

 

Mike Eaton

Officer Eaton has been employed with the Somerset County Sheriffs Office - Corrections Division since 2003. Officer Eaton is a graduate of the Somerset County Police academy Corrections Class #09-05. While Officer Eaton attended basic training he was appointed to the position of squad leader. Due to his exemplary performance, during basic training, Officer Eaton was selected by his peers to receive the Police Training Commission Merit Award, signifying qualities of scholarship and leadership indicative of exceptional future performance. Officer Eaton serves as a team member of the Somerset County Correctional Response Team. Officer Eaton trains in Alex Wilkies American Freestyle Martial Arts. Officer Eaton is currently completing his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University.
