Online Web-Based Learning

ONLINE WRITING TUTORING:

The Academic Support Center is pleased to offer online writing tutoring to Raritan Valley Community College students. You may submit a paper no longer than 10 pages via your RVCC e-mail for feedback from a writing tutor. The tutor will return this paper to you within 36 hours, excluding weekends, with advice from an ASC tutor. The tutor will use Microsoft Word's Comments feature to review your paper. To submit your paper send an e-mail using your RVCC e-mail account and the ASC e-mail address for writing tutoring: engtutor@raritanval.edu. In the subject line please write, ONLINE TUTORING.

Online students, please note that you can not submit your paper directly through the WebCT Blackboard system. 

You must include the following information in your e-mail:
 

1.	Your name
2.	Your e-mail address
3.	Your instructor's name
4.	The course number
5.	A specific explanation of the type of assistance you are seeking (e.g., thesis development, organization, grammar, punctuation)
6.	Attach your writing as a Microsoft Word document
7.	Attach or copy and paste your writing assignment
