Anne Marie Moccia

My name is Anne Marie Moccia and this is my second year at Raritan Valley Community College. I am currently finishing my time spent at RVCC and I will be transferring to a four year university in May 2008 as I would like to begin a successful time of studies for the future purpose of a career in nursing. I am looking to acquire my BSN, the reason that I love to care for others and I hope to make a difference in many peoples' lives.

After my first semester here I made the Dean’s List and I was eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa. Since I was new to the school I was nervous and hesitant about joining, yet I did it anyway. I slowly became more involved and now I have the great privilege to be an officer for PTK.

I also am an officer for another club on campus; I am the secretary for Campus Crusade for Christ. I currently work at Overlook Hospital as a Patient Care Technician. I assist the nurses in many ways and I love the opportunity I have to care and serve the patients.

All my personal achievements have aided me in building a strong character with diligence, team work, and persistence, which will help me in a future career as a nurse. In all my jobs and schooling, I hope all people will be able to see my strengths: discipline in my studies and work, leadership, and organizational skills. Most of all I hope people see my love, passion, and joy that have resulted from my past experiences and will hopefully assist me as I serve others in the future.
