Cafeteria Name & Logo Contest

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Registered students only may participate
• Two stage process: naming first; logo/graphics second
• Maximum of 3 entries per student in each contest

KEY DATES

• DEADLINE EXTENDED! Names are due Jan. 15
• Winning name(s) will be selected and announced by Feb. 15
• Tentative due date for logo/graphics – March 15, 2007

PRIZES for each contest

• $200 first place – cafeteria or bookstore credits
• $100 second place – cafeteria or bookstore credits
  

SUBMITTING ENTRIES

• Naming entries may be submitted via e-mail or hard copy
• Logos/graphics must be hard copy on paper
• Maximum size 11x17” and easily reproducible

NAME PARAMETERS

• Evoke food, fun, excitement; place to be
• No more than 5 words
• DO NOT use “Lion,” or “Lion’s Den”
• Will be displayed all over campus
• Not already copyrighted
  

LOGO/GRAPHIC PARAMETERS

• No more than three colors and three fonts
• Be sure image is not already copyrighted
