International Fashion Show

Have you ever wondered what the latest fashions may be from around the world? Now is your chance to find out.

The International Club will host its fashion show next week at the 5th annual Rotoract Humanitarian Award Dinner. This is the group’s eighth fashion show.

The clothing shown at this event represents that worn in many different countries, including Vietnam, Nepal, Nigeria, India, Romania, Germany and Brazil. The breadth of countries reflects the diversity of the RVCC community.

RVCC students in the International and Rotaract clubs will model clothing from their home countries and perform dances that represent their own cultures. The dances and clothing will give insight to what popular culture is like in nations other than our own.

There will also be a silent auction. Items to be auctioned include autographed pictures of famous celebrities, books signed by their authors, and other international items.

Support the International Club by attending the fashion show on Saturday, April 14th, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Conference Center.

Admission is $25 ($15 for students). Proceeds support the Nepal Orphan Project, which provides funds to orphanages in desperate need; the Hope Project, which helps underdeveloped communities in South Africa; and the RVCC General Scholarship fund.

To purchase tickets see an International or Rotaract Club member.
