GIFTS TO THE FOUNDATION
Annual Fund gifts to the Foundation may be unrestricted to help support the operating budget of the College. Restricted gifts, which are donor-designated, support a specific fund. Funding priorities include support for the following:
Center for Civic Engagement & Volunteerism - The Center is committed to increasing the moral and civic responsibility of our citizens, both in the College community and the larger Central Jersey community. Programs included are:
- The Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies Resource Center - The Center serves as an interactive multimedia, educational center designed to promote tolerance, understanding, and compassion.
- The Paul Robeson Institute for Ethics, Leadership, and Social Justice - The Institute seeks to foster excellence in academics, arts, and athletics, through cultural programs that emphasize ethics, social justice, and leadership.
- Service Learning - This program is committed to engaging students, faculty, administrators, staff, and members of the community-at-large in service-learning; in order to foster skills and values that contribute to the improvement of society, to civic literacy, and to students' career resiliency.
Scholarships - The Foundation helps to provide scholarships for many students that are unable to obtain financial aid, but wish to pursue their education.
Technology - The Foundation has aided in providing state-of-the-art technology.
The Theater - Audiences are treated to performances by major artists in a one thousand seat performing arts center made possible, in part, through generous private donations
The Planetarium - The one hundred seat planetarium welcomes over 15,000 school children and large public audiences annually to explore the realms of outer space.
The Art Gallery - With the financial support of the Foundation, the spacious gallery is able to accommodate a variety of exhibitions by students, faculty, and local artists.
