DOYLE NAMED TO RVCC BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Trudy Doyle of Bridgewater, the new Somerset Executive County Superintendent, has been named to the Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) Board of Trustees.
Doyle replaces David Livingston, who retired last spring, as the Board representative from the Somerset County schools.
?We welcome Trudy Doyle to the RVCC Board of Trustees and look forward to the valuable insights she can provide as an experienced school administrator and former teacher,? said RVCC President Dr. Casey Crabill.
Doyle?s extensive background in education includes serving most recently as Assistant Superintendent of the Hopatcong Borough Schools and in various roles with the Bedminster Board of Education, including Superintendent, Chief School Administrator, Vice Principal and Curriculum Director. She began her career as a teacher in Staten Island, New York and has also served as an Educational Consultant.
Doyle received an M.S. in Supervision and Administration (Sixth Year Professional Certificate) and an M.S. in Elementary Education, both from the City University of New York, as well as a B.A. in Child Study from St. Joseph?s College. Her many educational certifications include: NJ School Administrator, NJ Principal/Supervisor, NJ Elementary School Teacher and NJ Nursery School Teacher, as well as NY School Administrator, NY Supervisor: K-12 and NY Nursery-Grade 6 Teacher.
RVCC, located on Route 28 and Lamington Road in North Branch, NJ, and serving Somerset and Hunterdon County residents for close to 40 years, offers more than 80 associate degrees and certificates.
