RVCC TO PRESENT STUDENT ART EXHIBITION
Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts Department will present the annual RVCC Student Art Exhibition in two installments this year. The first exhibition (Part I) runs from March 24-April 10, in the Art Gallery at the College?s North Branch Campus.
An opening reception will be held Friday, March 28, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
The pieces included in the exhibition were created by students in the College?s Visual Arts Department and selected by RVCC faculty members. Part I of the exhibition will feature a variety of media from the following disciplines: 2D Design, Drawing, Illustration, Ceramics and Color Theory. The exhibition is being coordinated by Darren McManus.
Gallery hours for the exhibition are Mondays, 3-8 p.m.; Tuesdays, noon-3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-8 p.m.; Thursdays, 2-6 p.m.; and Fridays, noon-3 p.m. For additional information, contact the Visual and Performing Arts Department, 908-218-8876.
Part II of the exhibition will run from April 18-May 1.
