RVCC SETS COURSE IN FORENSIC EVALUATION, IDENTIFICATION FOR CHILD ABUSE
The Allied Health department of Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division is offering a one-day course in Forensic Evaluation for Child Abuse: Forensic Identification in Mass Disaster. The course will be offered Friday, March 14, from 9 am. to 4 p.m., at the College?s North Branch Campus.
The seminar features information about child abuse recognition and reporting, as well as mass disaster protocol and identifications (multiple mass disasters revisited).
The child abuse portion of the program has been approved by the NY State Educational Department to fulfill the continuing education requirement for health professionals and teachers for licensure. In addition, at the course?s completion, a certificate from New Jersey State Nurses Association with 6 contact hours will be awarded.
