RVCC TO OFFER CLINICAL TRIALS ASSISTANT (CTA) PROGRAM
The Allied Health department of Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division is offering a Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) program this spring. The course will be offered Saturdays, March 29 and April 5, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at the College?s North Branch Campus.
Knowledgeable Clinical Trial Assistants are in increasing demand in the pharmaceutical industry. The program includes an examination of documents in the trial master file; a brief overview of the drug development process; a review of the clinical trial phases; and information about finding applicable regulations and compliance documents on the FDA website.
Upon completion of the course, the New Jersey State Nurses Association (NJSNA) Certificate with 12 NJSNA contact hours will be issued.
