RVCC TO OFFER YOUTH COMPUTER CLASSES
The Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in North Branch will offer a variety of computer programs this fall for children ages 8-14. The following courses will be offered:
Keyboarding --Students ages 8-14 perfect their touch-keyboarding skills and learn the fundamentals of word processing. The class will be held Saturdays, September 29 to October 20, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for students ages 8-10, and from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for students ages 11-14. The fee is $74.
Microsoft PowerPoint-Level 1 --Students ages 11-14 learn one of the most popular presentation software programs used in business today. The class will be held Saturdays, November 3 to December 1, from 9-10:30 a.m. The fee is $74.
Web Page Design --Students ages 8-10 explore kid-friendly sites on the World Wide Web and receive an introduction to HTML to design a web page. The class will be held Saturdays, November 3 to December 1, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The fee is $74.
