RVCC TO OFFER ALGEBRA REVIEW CLASSES

The Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is offering an algebra review series this fall.

The review program covers the material in a high school Algebra class curriculum. Students may register for each section independently or for the entire series. However, they must have taken Algebra I before enrolling in any of these programs. The following sections will be held at RVCC?s North Branch Campus:

Algebra Review I --Students ages 13-17 are instructed in the areas of positive/negative rational numbers, order of operation, linear equations and inequalities, graph points and lines, slope, and equations of lines. The class will be held Saturdays, September 22 and September 29, from 10-11:30 a.m. The fee is $53.

Algebra Review II --Students ages 13-17 learn about exponents, scientific notation, polynomials and quadratic equations. The class will be held Saturdays, October 6 and October 13, from 10-11:30 a.m. The fee is $53.

Algebra Review III --Students ages 13-17 are instructed in the areas of rational expressions, rational equations, radical expressions and radical equations. The class will be held Saturdays, October 20 and October 27, from 10-11:30 a.m. The fee is $53.
