THEATRE AT RVCC TO PRESENT SHANGRI-LA CHINESE ACROBATS
The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in North Branch will present Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats, Friday, November 2, at 7 p.m.
The production is part of the Theatre?s Family Series , specially designed for families with older children. The series, recommended for families with children ages eight and older, features performances ranging from spectacular acrobatics and physical comedy to lively percussion and classical ballet.
Under the direction of acrobatic legends the Hai Family, the company flawlessly interprets the precision and grace of an art form honed by years of training and discipline. The multifaceted and multicultural production features dazzling acrobatic displays, formidable feats of daring and balance, explosive Kung Fu moves, brilliant costumes and even a touch of Chinese comedy.

In addition to the Family Series , the Theatre will present this season the Major Artists Series ; the 16th annual Merck Series , made possible by a generous grant from The Merck Company Foundation; School-Time Performances , a series for teachers and their students; and the Sampler Series , a series of transformational events for youngsters age four and older and their families.
