RVCC SETS COURSE IN PERSONAL INVESTMENT PLANNING
Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in North Branch is offering a two-session course in Personal Investment Planning & Management. The program will be held Tuesdays, November 6 and 13, from 7-9 p.m., at the College?s North Branch Campus.
The course offers practical ideas and solutions for protecting assets, investing with the proper mix of return and risk, and dealing with long-term care insurance. Topics include: investment basics, 401(k), IRA, investing, budgeting, asset allocation, risk tolerance and rollover options. The program is designed to addresses such key financial questions as: Do I have enough money to retire? What is portfolio allocation and how do I know if my portfolio is properly allocated? What should I do with my company retirement plan?
