RVCC STUDENT JAZZ ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM
The Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) Student Jazz Ensemble, directed by John Loehrke of New York City, will perform in concert Thursday, November 29, at 8 p.m., in the Welpe Theatre at the College?s North Branch Campus.
The group will perform original arrangements by such composers as Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, Ken Smith, Rogers and Hammerstein, Louis Jordan, Miles Davis, Oliver Nelson, and Tiomkin and Washington.
The ensemble is composed of the following members: Ken Smith, Zachary Granick, Tracey Neal, Somerville; Sean Healey, Andrew Johnston, Steven Yadlosky, Bridgewater; Robyn Alfonso, Delaware; Ian Christie, Green Brook; Steven Kurpis, Paul Johnson, Flemington; Steven Maron, Highland Park; Fallon Rivella, Hopewell; Milo Venter, Berkeley Heights; Michael Chornomaz, Branchburg; Matthew Singer, Martinsville; Nichole Singer, Hillsborough; Michael Valeri, High Bridge; Timothy Svendsen, Hackettstown; Tammara Housel, Washington; and Zach Ripps, Sparta.
