RVCC TO HOLD INFORMATION SESSIONS FOR OLDER STUDENTS
Older students who are returning to college after many years and those who are thinking about going to college but are unsure how to take the first step are invited to attend a special information session at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC). The Lifelong Educational Opportunity (LEO) information session will be offered twice this summer: Wednesday, June 3, and repeated on Thursday, August 27. Both sessions will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. in the College Center (lower level, rooms C-08 and C-10), at the College?s North Branch Campus.
The program will include an introduction to RVCC and the campus. Some of the other topics to be covered include:
* Understanding the ABCs of academia
* Earning college credit for what you already know
* Coping with test anxiety
* What do I do if I am older than my professor?
