RVCC JAZZ ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM
Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Student Jazz Ensemble will perform in concert Thursday, December 11, at 8 p.m., in the Welpe Theatre at the College?s North Branch Campus.
The group is directed by John Loehrke of New York City.
The ensemble will perform pieces by a variety of jazz artists, including Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Ornette Coleman, Thelonious Monk and Lee Morgan, as well as selections from the great American songbook by composers such as Jimmy VanHeusen.
The group features the following members: Robyn Alfonso, Delaware, NJ; Keith Bernstein, Kevin Bonhoff and Dennis Weihrouch, Branchberg; Tyler Evans, Asbury; Dan Filipak, Hillsborough; John Fiorilla, Watchung; Ryan Hannagan, Belvidere; Erica Kane, Warren; Kyle Kassick, Somerset; Steve Yadlosky and Sean Healy, Somerville; Mike Rosinski, Milford; Matt Singer, Martinsville; and Tim and Chris Svendsen, Hackettstown.
