Online Student Orientation
- Live Orientation Sessions on the RVCC Campus - If you are a first-time online or hybrid student, we recommend that you attend one of our optional, live, orientation sessions! Instructors will demonstrate a WebStudy distance learning course and answer questions. You will also learn about technical requirements and have an opportunity to login to your course in a lab. See the Distance Learning page for dates and times.
- Online Student Orientation Course - In January, 2012 you will be able to login to our WebStudy Student Training Course and practice using the WebStudy tools.

- Visit the RVCC Academic Departments page and select the department that offers your course from the left menu. Scroll down the page to see the link to your instructor's Website and/or instructor's email.
- Look up your instructor's email in the RVCC Campus Directory.

- Microsoft Office 2010 (PC version only, not Mac version) is required for Computer Literacy courses. The suite contains Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. The suite can be purchased for under $100 at www.theultimatesteal.com.
Special Information for Math Courses
- Currently, you must take math exams on-site at the RVCC Testing Center
- Students who are out of the area must take exams at a proctored test site

- A scientific or graphing calculator is required for Statistics I, Statistics II, and Number Systems courses.
- A graphing calculator (TI-83 or TI-84 recommended) for Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Precalculus I, Precalculus II, Statistics Honors, and Precalculus Honors courses.
