Do I have appropriate software for running my online RVCC course?

Web Browser

  1. What do I have?
    • If you have Windows and Microsoft Internet Explorer, look in the line above.
      Your version of Internet Explorer is the number immediately after
      "Your browser version is 4.0 (compatible; MSIE"
    • If you have Windows and Mozilla Firefox, you'll see:
      Your current Web browser is Netscape
      Your browser version is 5.0 (Windows; en-US)
    • For more details:
      1. Open your Web browser.
      2. From the menu or icon bar, select Help.
      3. Select the menu item About (your browser's name).
  2. What do I need?
    A Web browser approved to work with "Blackboard CE 8"
    • If you already have one, please skip to step 3.
      If not, download and install a compatible browser.
  3. Tune-up your browser!

  • 2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS
    ...allows you to export and save to the PDF and XPS formats in eight 2007 Microsoft Office programs. It also allows you to send as e-mail attachment in the PDF and XPS formats in a subset of these programs.
