Teaching Your Online or Hybrid Course with WebStudy (3 hours)

This hands-on workshop is an introduction for instructors who have been assigned to teach a pre-developed online or hybrid course. It is also the final step for instructors developing an online or hybrid course for the first time and includes tips on good online pedagogy. (Please choose a date and time below)

Supplementing Your Classroom Course with WebStudy PART 1: Course Information and Communication (1 hour) 

This hands-on workshop is for instructors who plan to use WebStudy to store course materials, post materials for students, make class announcements, and send email to students.  Instructors will have access to a limited WebStudy toolset with opportunity to attend additional training and add more tools in the future. (Please choose a date and time below)  

Supplementing Your Classroom Course with WebStudy PART 2: Additional Course Tools (1 hour) 

This hands-on workshop is for instructors who plan to use WebStudy to create online assignments, set up online discussion, and grade coursework items.  This is especially helpful when class sessions are cancelled due to weather or other emergencies.  Instructors will have access to an expanded WebStudy toolset with opportunity to attend additional training and add more tools in the future if they choose to teach an online or hybrid course. NOTE: Prior attendance at the "Supplementing Classroom PART 1" workshop is required for this workshop. (Please choose a date and time below)  

Universal Design for Learning (1 hour)

This workshop will help instructors learn 5+ easy ways to make their course materials more accessible to ALL students. Instructors will learn to use headings, links, lists, alt text and video captioning. Instructors developing online and hybrid courses should attend this workshop before they begin developing their course.  (Please choose a date and time below)

WebStudy Gradebook (1 hour)

This workshop covers gradebook set-up, management, and feedback and will help instructors learn to use the WebStudy gradebook tool to its fullest potential.  NOTE: Prior attendance at the "Teaching Online/Hybrid" or "Supplementing Classroom PART 2" workshops is required for this workshop.  A partially or fully developed WebStudy course is required for this workshop. (Please choose a date and time below) 

Creating an EPortfolio in WebStudy  (1 hour)

This workshop introduces ePortfolio development for onsite courses. During the workshop instructors will create their own WebStudy ePortfolios so that they can teach ePortfolio development in the classroom.  NOTE: Prior attendance at the "Supplementing Classroom Part 1" is required for this workshop. (Please choose a date and time below)
