What is the admissions process? Application forms and fees are unique to each partnering collegeor university. Therefore, once you determine what courses you would like to enroll in at the University Center, you must directly contact the partnering institution that offers those courses toapply. Specific contact information can be found on the UC home page. After you have completed the application and have been accepted into a college or university, you will be a student at that institution with the same rights and responsibilities as other students at that university. What about registration and tuition for courses? Students can register for University Center classes by mailing, calling or e-mailing the partnering institution. Students enrolled at one of the University Center's partnering institutions will be paying that college's tuition and fees, not those of Raritan Valley Community College. More complete information about payment andr efund policies is available from the institutions' websites or representatives. Can I get financial aid? You may be eligible for financial aid in the form ofscholarships, grants or loans. To find out, you should contact theoffice of Financial Aid at the university from which you intend toreceive your degree. (see below) To be considered for federal financial aid, the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" (FAFSA) must be submitted. This form is available from RVCC's Financial Aid office in the College Center, from the partnering university, or on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov.Hope Scholarship/Lifetime Learning Tax Credits program
I'd like to enroll as a guest student, is that possible? If you are interested in a specific course but have not been officially admitted to the University Center institution that is offering the class, please consult directly with that institution's representatives about guest admission.
