ABP - Alternate Benefit Plan
- PERS is a Defined Benefit Plan retirement benefits are based upon a formula using years of pension-credited service and final average salary (FAS).
- ABP is a Defined Contribution Plan offered to faculty and certain administrators. Retirement benefits are based upon investment earnings. The following investment carriers are available to ABP members, as well as for supplemental retirement annuities (SRAs) and the ACTS program.
