Telephones in each office are available to employees for business calls. Personal calls are not permitted except for emergencies. Pay phones are located throughout the College.
When placing the call, the person should inform the operator the name of the business, the extension, name of caller, and the number to be called.
Monthly printouts reveal all calls from each extension. If the number called by any extension cannot be identified as a place of business, it will be considered a personal call and appropriate action may betaken.
The College subscribes to AT&T's AudixVoice Messaging service, which among other things enables a person to send, retrieve, and review messages, and administer greetings. Faculty are reminded to regularly check their voice mail to get all incoming messages. Faculty needing assistance with the use of the Audix system should check with the Purchasing Department.
