 Academy for Health and Medical Sciences 

The Academy for Health and Medical Sciences is a partnership between Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School (SCVTHS) and Raritan Valley Community College.  This ambitious program is a four-year, full time learning community in which cohorts of students work toward obtaining their high school diploma and Associate Degree in General Science concurrently.

The goals of the Academy are to implement challenging cross curricula educational experiences that promote critical thinking skills, foster opportunities for leadership and show the connection among disciplines, and to provide authentic clinical experiences through professional and community partnerships, exposing students to related career opportunities.    

The Academy for Health and Medical Science’s rigorous curriculum includes the following RVCC courses, which are held at both SCVTHS and on campus at RVCC:
