INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS

RVCC is a member of region XIX of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), the governing body overseeing intercollegiate competition between community colleges, and the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC), for those community colleges within New Jersey. RVCC competes regularly against neighboring community colleges, including Sussex, Middlesex, Ocean and Burlington counties.

Starting with the 2008-2009 school year RVCC will be going NJCAA Division II in women's basketball, softball, and baseball. With the move to DII RVCC can offer athletic scholarships to students participating in that sport. Along with the scholarship benefit, students will also be given additional support through the counseling and tutoring departments.
