Professional Development for Educators
T he New Jersey Department
of Education has mandated that all active teachers are required to complete
100 hours of state-approved continuing professional development and/or
in-service every five years starting in September 2000.

Corporate and Continuing
Education, a division of Raritan Valley Community College, is pleased
to announce that we are officially registered as Professional
Development Provider #1806 for the New Jersey Department of
Education Professional Standards Board. We offer Professional Development
to educators in a variety of ways, including customized training and on-campus workshops.
Customized Training
Through our unique
customized training approach, we will research the needs of your individual
school district to create a workshop specifically for you, at your location,
during your in-service day or at a convenient time. Knowing how busy educators
are is important, so we bring our programs to you!. Some examples are:

workshops scheduled for each academic year that will count towards your
Professional Development Hours. And with facilities such as: The

Teacher Development programs and there are always events planned primarily for educators.
