RVCC through its Corporate and Continuing Education Division offers review programs for both the CPS (Exam Parts I, II, and III) and the CAP (Exam Part IV).
CPS Review
72 total hours of instruction
18 hours – Office Administration Module
21 hours – Office Systems Technology Module
24 hours – Management Module
9 hours – intensive re-review.
Program start dates: mid-October for the May exam seating; mid-April for the November exam seating (start dates change with accelerated model—see below).
Instructional Locations
10 or more participants from same company (“open door” policy encouraged for those outside the company); program is held at company host site
10 or more participants from various companies (no company host site) program is held at RVCC.
Program delivery models available -
Traditional: One, three-hour session per week for 24 weeks (no classes are scheduled during holiday weeks)
Accelerated: Two, three-hour sessions per week for 12 weeks (no classes are scheduled during holiday weeks)
Teleconference: Participants may participate fully in a review program via teleconference from a remote site or put together a combination of some "face-to-face" sessions with some teleconferencing sessions.
Supplemental Resources
Regularly scheduled e-mail sessions that supplement classroom instruction.

CAP Review (Part IV: Open to CPS Holders only)
36 total hours of instruction—Advanced Organizational Management
9 hours – Teams and Team Building
12 hours – Advanced Office Admin Procedures & Communication
9 hours – Strategic Planning & Management; Cultural Diversity;
Etiquette & Protocol6 hours – intensive re-review.
