Looking for an Interesting Field Trip???
The Planetarium at Raritan Valley Community College offers fun, educational programs that will take you and your students into space and evoke a sense of adventure as you visit the last frontier. You will travel through time and space and explore exploding nebulas, mysterious black holes, and the solar system from its beginning to the present day. Our educational shows are designed to help young people discover the wonders of the universe.

Admission Fee
$7.00 per person for groups of 15 students or more
or $12.00 per person for two planetarium shows on the same day.
There is a minimum group charge of $105 for one show and $180 for two shows.
One adult admitted free for every 10 students.
Minimum Group size: 15 students plus one adult
Maximum Group size: the Planetarium has 100 seats

Gift ShopThe Planetarium has a gift shop which features a large selection of science and astronomy books, posters, post cards, pencils & pens, star charts, magnets, astronaut ice cream, freeze dried cinnamon apple wedges and strawberries. |
What About Lunch?The Raritan Valley Community College cafeteria is available to visiting school groups bringing bag lunches or wishing to purchase food, or you are welcome to bring a bag lunch to eat outside on the grounds. You can also arrange for hot or box lunches through the College's food services company, CulinArt. Contact them at 908-526-1200 x8343. |
The Planetarium offers general public shows and laser concerts for all ages.
These shows change periodically but are also available to interested school groups.
