Autobiography
As a part-time instructor of writing at RVCC, I bring
my experience as an English Instructor at Arcadia University in
Glenside, PA, and 25+ years of working for publishers, journals, trade
magazines, and corporate clients as an editor, writer, and director of
continuing education in health care and other fields.
Teaching Philosophy:
Students enter English I and II classes with rich and
varied backgrounds that enhance the writing environment. My job as a
writing instructor is to encourage students to explore, discover, and
voice their perspectives in the context of the writings and opinions of
a larger audience. My pleasure in teaching is that I learn as much from
my students as I hope they learn from me and their classmates.
