Adjunct Faculty

Raritan Valley Community College awards an Associate of Science Degree in Mathematics. This A.S. Degree is transferable to four year institutions. Graduates have transferred to Drew, Rutgers, Montclair State, and Kean as well as hundreds of other colleges/universities across the nation.The Department of Mathematics supports all other programs and also offers basic skill classes to improve the students ability to study college level courses.

Mathematics Departmental Awards

Mathematics Academic Award
The student who is selected for this award must be a Mathematics Major who is graduating, and must have earned the highest GPA in the major.  Commitment to the RVCC community will also be considered. 

Vince Bodino Mathematics Achievement Award
The award, in memory of Vince Bodino, is given to honor the study of mathematics; for its challenge to intelligence and imagination, as well as to character and heart. The student who is selected for this award must:  be a Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering major; have started their RVCC mathematics studies in a developmental mathematics course; and must have excelled in mathematics courses through Calculus I or beyond.
