CISY 122 - Introduction to Information Systems

Designed for non-computer science majors, this course focuses on the concept, design, and development of various Information Systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding how information Systems help various disciplines as well as on the use of productivity software (word processing, spreadsheet management, presentation management, and data base management, search tools, and multimedia) to gather, analyze, organize, and present information, and on the social, ethical, and privacy aspects of the impact of computers on society.
