2) 25% penalty for files not renamed exactly as above.

The following rules will be strictly imposed during Quizzes / Exams

Cheating of any format is not allowed.  All parties involved in cheating will be dealt with according to the school’s policy on cheating.

1) Do not talk, whisper to anybody or to yourself. Anything you say including "hello" or "good bye" is also considered cheating.

2) When you are completed with a quiz /exam, handed / e-mail and turn off any web browsers. You may remain in the room at my discretion.

3) After end of each Exam (Word, Excel, Access & PP), e-mail me your work. Make sure I've received it before leaving the class room.

Other course rules:

1) No electronic devices such as cell phones or mp3 players are not permitted in class. Cell phones must be turned off in class.

2) Homework files must be placed in separate folders. The folders must be renamed with your last name, zipped and e-mailed to me. If the files are e-mailed without being zipped, you will get a zero. Keep the reference of your e-mail in the "Sent Items" as proof that you did e-mailed me.

3) All exams must be e-mailed to me.

4) When submitting your work, 25% penalty will be applied per each late class beyond the due date.

5) If you miss more than six classes without prior approval, I will drop you from this class (college policy). Any time you miss a class or leave class early (before 3pm), I will deduct points from your grade.

6) You must be in for all exams on the following dates (10/01, 11/03, 11/24 & 12/15). If you miss an exam without a valid reason such as sickness or death in immediate family, a make up exam will be given with a penalty of 20%.

7) Regardless of the reason, no make up exams are given if you miss Word Exam I and/or Excel Exam I. If you miss Word Exam 1 (09/22), the Word Exam II will weigh 25% and/or if you miss Excel Exam I (10/20),  the Excel Exam II will weigh 30%.

8) All exams in this course are scheduled as above. Do not follow the official college exam schedule. If there is a conflict with another exam, let me know at least one week in advance.

9) In the event if a scheduled lab is completed early, work on the corresponding home work labs. If the home work labs are completed, work on the next class lab.

10) Do not print any material to hand in to me through out the course. Generally avoid print anything unless you absolutely have a need.

11) All work must be completed by 12/15/08.

12) Note: Any portion of the above schedule can change due to any number of reasons. You are responsible for viewing this web site on a daily basis to track announcements/changes.
