
A number of academic programs at Raritan Valley Community College now require students to demonstrate Technological Literacy, also known as Computer Literacy. A student may either take an exam to demonstrate competency or take a General Education computer class such as CISY 102 - Computer Literacy, CISY 103 - Computer Concepts & Programming, CISY 105 - Foundations of Computer Science or CISY 122 - Business Computer Systems.
This sheet provides information about the Technological Competency Hands-On Exam that will soon be available in the college testing center.
The exam consists of 70 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. A grade of 70% is required to pass.The questions are both hands on and multiple choice.
