Description of award: Raritan Valley Community College Retiree Award

Suggested Nomination Process: Employee notifies HR Department of intention to retire;
HR notifies the Rewards and Recognition Committee

Criteria: Minimum of 5 years of service. Based on longevity policy, years of service are calculated on the number of years completed as of December 31st. The eligibility requirements for retirement are based on the state pension eligibility requirements.

Communication Plan: December/May retirement reception

Reward:

• 5-10 years of service: Women's/Men's gold RVCC logo watch in rosewood box
• 11-17 years of service:
  * Heritage Lamp engraved with RVCC logo
         OR
  * choice of gold bezel jewelry:
  

  Options for Women: - pendant with chain - stick pin - earrings - charm with bracelet

  Options for Men: - tie tack - cuff links - tie pin

• 18+ years of service:
  * Captain's Chair engraved with RVCC logo
        OR
  * Custom designed RVCC bicycle (style choices available in HR)
