The Rewards and Recognitions Program seeks to foster pride among all members of the RVCC community by acknowledging consistent, appropriate and positive actions that promote the college mission.
Goals:
- Build a framework for the personal growth for members of the RVCC community by encouraging a commitment to the college’s mission, values and goals.
- Foster a sense of community within each department and the extended RVCC community.
- Nurture a view that the RVCC is a place that promotes behaviors which support individual, work group, team, departments, and leadership in the work environment.
- Provide an institutional rewards and recognitions structure that both anticipates and responds to changing contemporary needs of all employees
- Strive to make the Rewards and Recognition system a source of pride for the RVCC community: something that can be respected and accepted.
- Demonstrate a strong service ethic through ongoing support of the local community.
