The Team Pride Award: Together we Succeed is intended to recognize a group of employees working towards a common goal.

Eligibility:

  • Departments
  • Work Teams
  • Formal Committees – appointed by Forum
  • Collaborative Groups

A team consists of two or more employees or departments working on a special project (with a defined mission and goals) that is outside the requirements of these individuals’ jobs. The team should demonstrate:

a. Commitment to mission of RVCC
b. Innovation and effectiveness
c. Cooperation and leadership

Criteria: Nominations should be submitted to the awards committee to recognize a superior team effort in completing a special project or program. Committees may also self nominate. Awards will be made a minimum of twice a year.

Approval Process: All nominations will be reviewed by the awards committee between the months of August – May. Award will be presented a minimum of twice a year.

Communication Plan: Post on Lion’s Den and Rewards and Recognition Website
