Final Project Part B (20 Points)

Write a review of your favorite Movie or TV Show.

The document you create will use the MLA format for the document.  One citation will be to an entry in IMDb.com and one citation will be to an article in a newspaper or magazine, such as a review or just an article about the movie/TV Show.

The document must be in Word 2007 format which uses the bibliography database for the citations.

The flyer must be created using Word 2007 and the file name should be "Name Review.docx" where Name is your first name, last name or nick name

A suggested structure for the paper is 5 paragraphs:  Introduction, point 1, point 2, point 3, Summary

Required Items:

  • Header in upper right: your last name then space then page # (generated)
  • Entire document double-spaced with no-space after paragraph
  • Your full name on first line of document, followed by Teacher's name on second line, Course name on third Line, Date Due on fourth line. All four lines without indent
  • Title centered (without indent) on fifth line
  • All paragraphs in document with Research Paper Paragraphs style set: 1/2" first line indent (not spaces and not a tab)
  • All citations/sources properly added to Bibliography (Word 2007 only)
  • If a footnote is used, Footnote Text Style changed to be based on Research Paper Paragraphs (following too), Size 11, Double spaced
  • Works Cited on a separate page by means of a manual-page break (CTRL-ENTER), Centered, no indent
  • Citations in Works Cited, Style Set, Double Space
  • Citations in Works Cited, 1/2" hanging indent
  • Author set in Document Properties
  • Spelling and Grammar check performed

Grading Rubric

  • Lastname in Header (1 point)
  • Page # as field in Header (1 point)
  • Entire Document double spaced (1 point)
  • First 4 lines (Student Name / Instructor Name / Course Name / Date Due) (2 points)
  • Title Centered (1 point)
  • Paragraphs in document with Research Paper Paragraphs style (double spaced, first line indent of 1/2") (2 points)
  • 2 citations in Word 2007 bibliography and referenced in document (2 points)
  • Manual page break before Works Cited (1 point)
  • Works Cited title centered w/o first-line indent (1 point)
  • Citations generated from bibliography database in MLA format (1 point)
  • Author field set in Document Properties (1 point)
  • Spelling/Grammar Check (1 point)
  • Minimally 5 paragraphs (5 points)
