Hi, I'm Harvey, the Nutrition Class Mascot.

Every semester I go on a trip never to be seen again.

Follow me on an exciting journey. See me transform from -- a bun, meat patty, cheese, mayo, tomato, lettuce and ketchup - to my simplest parts: the nutrients -- amino acids, mono-, disaccharides, mono-, di- and triglycerides, glycerol, free fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.

I jump with excitement at the prospect of this breathtaking, thrilling, and never to return journey!!

In "Introduction to Nutrition" you will learn the fundamentals of how nutrients work in unison to nourish the body for energy and good health.

Welcome Aboard!!!
