Raritan Valley Community College will continue its tradition of honoring students’ outstanding academic work at its annual nota bene event, April 20, at 6 p.m. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Evelyn S. Field Library at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Each year, nota bene celebrates the power of imagination by showcasing outstanding student work from across the curriculum. Nominated by faculty, the submissions include poetry and essay writing, scientific endeavors, musical and dance performances, and visual arts that celebrate creative expression. Winners are selected by committee.

This year, RVCC will celebrate the following 31 students whose work exemplifies student inquiry and critical thinking: Mikayla Ahart, Jeffery Cabral, Yerlin Campos, Kevin Donlan, Sara Gebert, Cecelia Higgins, Najja Hudson, Melissa Ignacio, John Jannone, Benjamin Nola, Sarah Novack, Austin Rhinehart, Keri Rickman, Fabiana Rocha, Jeshua Rodriguez, Trevor Rokosky, Mark Romero, Michael Sipos, Jakub Sitarz, Terry Skibik, Eric Smith, Amanda Sullivan, Lauren Vellotti, Nick Vuolde, Sarah White, Jennifer Wrede, Jessica Zanzonico, Matthew Zgorzynski, Nick Zinn, Jenna Douglas, and Nadine Marhaba.
