RVCC, Rutgers to Hold Criminal Justice Career Night

Raritan Valley Community College and Rutgers University will present a Criminal Justice Career Night, April 13, from 6-8 p.m. The event, which is designed to give interested individuals the chance to explore career opportunities in all components of the criminal justice system and the private sector, will be held in the Conference Center at RVCC’s Branchburg campus.

Representatives from local, state, county and federal agencies will be available to talk about job requirements and specifications, as well as hiring procedures.  

RVCC offers an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice. Rutgers University offers a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at RVCC’s Branchburg campus as part of the College’s University Center. Those attending will be able to speak with representatives to learn more about the degree programs.

During the event, panel members will speak about their respective agencies and then break off into round-table discussions to give participants more specific information.  

The event is free of charge. High school and college students, as well as community members interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement or criminal justice, are encouraged to attend.
