RVCC SETS INFORMATION SESSIONS IN HUNTERDON COUNTY

Learn about all Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has to offer by attending a Community Information Session this spring in Hunterdon County.

The sessions will provide information about the wide variety of degree and certificate programs RVCC offers that can prepare students for today’s hottest careers. Participants will also learn about the College’s flexible scheduling options, including online and accelerated programs.

Students who are attending other colleges can learn about how they can earn extra credits this summer at RVCC and then transfer those credits to their home college. Information will also be available about English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. RVCC offers a range of ESL instruction, from basic level to college preparedness.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with an academic recruiter who will explain the enrollment process, financial aid opportunities and help interested students chart a career path. The following sessions will be offered:

April 11, 4-6:30 p.m., Friendly Grounds Coffee House, Mine Street, Flemington April 25, 4-7 p.m., ShopRite, 50 Walmart Plaza, Clinton June 13, 5-7 p.m., Flemington Library, 118 Main Street, Flemington

Individuals considering attending RVCC for a Summer Session or for the Fall Semester are encouraged to attend a Community Information Session. RVCC is offering four Summer Sessions:

* A six-week session starting May 21

* A six-week session starting July 9

* A nine-week session starting June 4

* A special nine-week session for English as a Second Language courses only starting May 21
