RVCC CAREER SEMINAR TO FOCUS ON HUMAN SERVICES, PSYCHOLOGY, SOCIAL WORK
Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Career Services Department will sponsor a Human Services, Psychology and Social Work Career Seminar Tuesday, April 15, from 6-8 p.m., in The Conference Center at the College’s North Branch Campus. The program is free of charge and open to the public.
Participants will learn about a variety of careers for psychology and social work majors, as well as transfer options for students in two-year programs. Students will be given the opportunity to interact with professionals in roundtable sessions. Career areas to be featured include:
* School psychology
* Private practice in social work, psychology
* Alcohol and drug treatment
* Behavioral programs for children
* Advocacy for people with developmental disabilities
