In the future we expect to add to our podcast offerings, creating content about Advising, Transfer & Career Services, ESL, the library and various academic departments.   • The ''RVCC Special Features' podcast series includes lectures, interviews, event recordings and other items of interest to the college community. Broaden your horizons here!   • Listen to a conversation between veteran education correspondent John Merrow and three community college presidents about remedial education, educating on a shoestring, mission creep and other “hot button” issues in a new podcast introducing an upcoming PBS documentary that examines American community colleges. “Discounted Dreams: High hopes and harsh realities at America’s community colleges,” aired in May 2007. On the Discounted Dreams website, you can listen to the podcast and learn more about the tv program, which was filmed in California, Colorado, Illinois, and New York.
