Departmental Exams |
| A Departmental
Exam is an option for a student who wants to earn credit by assessment
in a subject that is not available through CLEP or DANTES. Students
are encouraged to go to the Course
Outlines, which are accessible from the drop-down menu on the
RVCC home page, to find comprehensive course information. After
reviewing the course outline, the student would then complete the
Departmental exam request form, available in Student Enrollment
Services. Upon approval of this request by Susan Hagen in Student
Enrollment Services, the form will be sent to the academic department
for assignment to a faculty member. The student will be contacted
by the faculty member administering the test in order to schedule
a mutually convenient time. On occasion, the tests will be left
in the Test Center for the student. At the time of testing, the
student is required to bring a photo ID and payment at the rate
of $40 per credit attempted. |
