Forum on hate speech at RVCC Thursday

A forum on homeland security and protecting human rights will be held Thursday at Raritan Valley Community College.

Mark Weitzman, director of the New York Tolerance Center, will be the keynote speaker at the forum, which will cover topics such as understanding how hatred affects homeland security, hate speech and the First Amendment and the fascination with Adolf Hitler.

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Conference Center at RVCC, Route 28 and Lamington Road. The keynote address will be given from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.
