The Social Justice Club will be co-sponsoring a weekend workshop on grassroots political activism with NJ for Democracy (the state branch of Democracy for America, DFA). Learn about current political issues, campaigns, get-out-the-vote, voter registration, communication, and more!

Presentation by a local activist, Shuey Horowitz, on the crisis in the Darfur area of Sudan. Her presentation will include a documentary about the crisis and the responses by the activist community in the US. This presentation is tied to a “Save Darfur Rally,” scheduled for 2-4pm, Sun., Apr. 30, on the Somerville Courthouse lawn (Main Street), which the Social Justice Club is co-sponsoring.
