Yes, but they must have taken place during your time at RVCC within the parameters of the four categories and be validated.

When should entries be submitted?
The Transcript Entry and Validation Form should be submitted at the completion of each activity, allowing you to record your activities more effectively, eliminating any possibility of forgetting what you have just accomplished.

Special note to current students: If you have not yet submitted forms for your RVCC Student Leadership Development Transcript, you may submit them at any time during the school year to bring your transcript up to date.

How long does the program last?
The program begins your first year at Raritan Valley Community College and concludes at graduation.

What will my Student Leadership Development Transcript look like?
It will be an official document, printed on security paper and signed. See the sample Student Leadership Development Transcript.

How do I submit entries for my transcript?
Complete the Transcript Entry and Validation Form and return it to the Student Life Office. Use one form for each entry. Additional forms are available on-line.

How do I keep track of my entries?
Simply make a photocopy of each Transcript Entry and Validation Form before submitting it to the Student Life Office. Once you receive and verify that your final transcript is correct, you can discard your copies.

Should I submit entries for participation in an organization even if I submit an entry for being an officer of the organization?
You have to be the judge. Look at your records of entries and decide how you want your transcript to look. Generally, you will participate in a group before you become an officer, and typically, your participation in the group extends over a longer period of time. We suggest that you submit entries for each year of participation, as well as additional entries for any leadership position.

What do I do if I hold more than one leadership position in an organization?
You should submit a Transcript Entry and Validation Form for each position held.

Can I submit the same entry if I continue participation in the group or hold the same office for an additional year?
Yes. You should submit entries each year.

Must all entries be validated?
Yes

Who can validate my entries?
An organization advisor, faculty member, or representative directly responsible for the activity must provide validation.

What do I do if I have a problem obtaining a validation signature?
Contact the Student Life Office at Ext. 8318.

Can entries be deleted?
Yes, but you must request the deletion in writing to the Student Life Office.

When will my transcript be completed and reproduced?
