Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors USA, Inc. - Weekly Job Support & Networking Meetings - Thursday Nights 7-8:30 - RVCC - Resuming 9/17
Neighbors-helping-Neighbors is a weekly job search support and networking organization. Supported by an active web site (www.nhnusa.org) and LinkedIn group.
Meetings are designed to help anyone in career transition, including long term unemployed, long term underemployed individuals, recent college graduates, veterans as well as people re-entering the job market, people preparing for a possible job change, struggling small business owners and anyone looking for part time or volunteer work.
NhN @ Raritan Valley Community College meetings are offered in conjunction with the Ready to Work New Jersey program and are led by college staff members and community volunteers who have been trained on delivering the Neighbors-helping-Neighbors agenda led program.
The meetings offer advice in job search stategies, techniques and tools, support, motivation, leadership and networking opportunities. Developing the skills of conducting a job search campaign in today's new job market. The group's culture is based on a pay it forward model with a focus on networking.

Job Seekers Support Group
Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties is offering a Job Seekers Support Group for active job seekers who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change. The next group will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at JFS, 150-A West High Street, Somerville, N.J.
The topic for this session is Wrongful Termination and Illegal Hiring Practices presented by Brian Cige, Attorney at Law.
This group is offered free of charge and is open to the entire community. Funding for this program is provided by grants from The United Way of Hunterdon County, The Arnold A.
