Highschool and Underage Students

Welcome to RVCC! 

Advising & Counseling Services is here to assist you in making a smooth transition to Raritan Valley Community College. Please review the information below to ensure that you are following the required steps needed to get you on the right track for a successful college experience!

If you are under the age of 18 and do not possess a high school diploma (or equivalent), you may be admitted under one of three categories:

  • Early Credits Program
    For high school juniors and seniors with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA).  Follow the link for more information.
  • Concurrent Enrollment Program
    A partnership between RVCC and local high schools to provide college courses to students at their high school as part of the academic day.  Follow the link for more information.
  • Underage Admission
    For other students under the age of 18.  Follow the link for more information.

By answering GED practice questions and getting feedback, you will develop a feel for the kind of reading, thinking, and problem-solving skills you will need to pass the GED test.
