Who is My Advisor?
All first-year students are assigned a first-year advisor. Advisor assignments are based on last name. We recommend students meet with their First-Year Advisor at least two to three times each semester. Your First-Year Advisor is available to help with college success and the transition to college, course selection, change of major, career planning, and transfer planning.

At the end of your first two semesters at RVCC students will be transitioned to the Advising and Counseling Services Office.
The First Year Experience Office is located on the 1st floor of the College Center in suite C-143.
